I recently posted some tutorials on designing with my Ultimate Stencils and my Ultimate Shape. I had some sewing time during this week's retreat and managed to get two of them done and wanted to share.
This medallion used the Ultimate Stencil to provide the angle guides and a portion of The Ultimate Shape to provide the blades.
The background used my triple lines background stencil. By flipping it I created a triple line grid. I'm always telling my students you can use "The Basic Three" fillers to fill any quilting design to create an heirloom piece. Although this looks complicated I only used free form feathers, repetitive lines and pebbles.
I also recently posted how I used my Ultimate Backgrounds basket weave to fill in this beautiful log cabin block. LOVE how this one came out! I only used one color of Superior Threads' Kimono Silk and it beautifully blended with all the colors.
Please visit often...I have lots more goodies on the way!
Hugs, Cindy :)
