Have you ever had that time of year when everything seems to happen all at the same time??? It's like a particular month has a target on it...everything major is going to happen during that month and all at the same time. Well, August had a HUGE target on it for me but it's all good and everything had a happy ending. Here are only two of the things happened in August for me...
As you can see I have a NEW WEBSITE! Woohoooo! This is something I've been wanting to do for quite awhile and I finally took the very scary big first step to do this. Jenny, my favorite oldest daughter, created my "old" website many, many years ago and has done a fabulous job of keeping it going and updating it for me but I've outgrown it. With all my new designing stencils and books and more goodies on the way I needed newer technology to support it all. My favorite youngest daughter, Emily, recently updated the website for her bakery and had such a good experience that I decided to go ahead and do mine as well.
Please take the time to stroll thru everything and enjoy, but keep your editing eyes wide open and let me know if something is confusing, doesn't work or I need to add things to make it easier to navigate. When I initially set this up I kept telling my team to "keep it easy" so I'm hoping this is the case for you. Please let me know!
The other "Fresh Start" is we moved into a new home. This has been a long time coming. If you are a long-time blog stalker you know that during the housing market crash we had to make the difficult decision to short sale our home in order to save our cabinet shop business. We've been holed up in a little rental for the past 3 1/2 years getting debt paid off and saving money for a down payment for our own home. That all came to pass and we moved into our new home at the end of this month. This will be our "forever home" and will be our very last move...never, ever again. Once we're settled and things look halfway normal in our new nest I'll post some photos of our new digs.
I am really looking forward to enjoying my new website, a more user-friendly "store" for my products, and keeping in touch with you on a more regular basis on my blog. I look forward to receiving some feedback!
Big Hugs, Cindy :)
